Butterflies and Dragonflies - July, 2007

Here are some butterflies and dragonflies that I photographed with the Nikon Coolpix 4500 in late June and early July. The first group is from Indian Springs WMA in Washington County.

Female Widow Skimmer and Unknown Skipper found at Indian Springs WMA.

More Butterflies found at Indian Springs WMA. An Orange Sulphur, A Northern Pearly Eye, a Red Admiral, and a Common Wood Nymph.
An Eastern Tailed Blue and Dun Skipper (2 shots) found at Indian Springs WMA, and a tattered Mourning Cloak found in Garrett County, MD in late June (near Swamp Road).

Some Bugs I saw during a workshop at the Smith Environmental Center in Montgomery County, MD. It looks like a Wheel Bug Nymph and a couple of damselflies.
